Registration

If you are a speaker at the conference or will be attending in person, you must be a member of HOPOS in order to register for the conference. Membership includes a subscription to the University of Chicago Press journal HOPOS.  


To find out whether you are already a member, go to www.journals.uchicago.edu/hopos. Under "Manage my account", click the "Log In" link and sign in using your username and password. Email regarding your membership should arrive from "subscriptions@press.uchicago.edu". If you cannot find the relevant email and cannot log in, contact the customer service department at subscriptions@press.uchicago.edu or by telephone at (877) 705-1878 (toll-free, U.S. and Canada) or (773) 753-3347 (International). 


If you are not already a member of HOPOS, please join before registering by navigating to https://press.uchicago.edu/ucp/journals/subscribe/hopos.html and following the instructions there.  


Registration fees are as follows.  Early-bird registration ends on May 17.  After that, online registration will remain open, but higher fees will be assessed.

In addition, in-person attendees and their guests who wish to attend the conference banquet on Thursday June 23 pay purchase tickets for $55 (Full) or $30 (Student/Global South).


Registration Process


To register for the conference, first confirm that you are a HOPOS member by following the instructions above.  If your membership is active, please visit the UCI storefront to purchase a registration package.  If you wish to attend the banquet, be sure to add tickets for you and your guests to your order.  For questions about registration, please contact Jim Weatherall at weatherj@uci.edu.


Conference participants who have not already done so are also encouraged to create an account on this site to access additional functionality during the meeting.  However, creating an account is not the same as registering for the conference.
